“I have reached a point in my design journey, where I prefer less on a window. I used to love to dress them up extravagantly, but now I am much more likely to use wood shutters or panels of plain linen in my designs.
Shutters have become a mainstay of my designs. Being a light junkie, shutters when designed correctly, will encourage light into the room which feels more healthy and natural. Of course, there are times when you want the light blocked out and plantation shutters offer the perfect solution – opening louvers or panels to flood the room with light or closing the slats for darkness.
